Plasticel SA de CV

Plasticel SA is born. They began producing polypropylene-extruded sack bags and burlaps, becoming the first company of its kind in Latin America.

1996

Jumbocel SA de CV

Jumbocel SA de CV is created to produce polypropylene flexible intermediate bulk containers (super sacks)

1998

USA Sack

Jumbocel acquires USA Sack in Colorado and Hifort in Houston to directly participate in the American market.

1999

Jumbocel Systems

Jumbocel Systems is created to consolidate the operations of Hifort and US Sacks in the United States.

2001

Torreón and Monterrey

Jumbocel consolidates operations in the Monterrey and Torreon production plants located in Northern Mexico, increasing manufacturing capacity.

2015

ISO 22000

Jumbocel receives the ISO 22000 certification for quality and safety.

2008

Dimiplastik

The operations of Dimiplastik—yarn manufacturing and yarn products—are consolidated.

2010

Firmacel and FirmaFlex

Our products Firmacel and FirmaFlex are launched to substitute wooden pallets, creating positive environmental impact.

2011

KOSHER

Jumbocel and Jumbopack become Kosher-certified.

Quality and Safety Policy

At Grupo Jumbopack, we are committed to complying with the quality and safety requirements agreed with our customers in the products and services we offer and applicable legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining effective communication and continuous improvement of the quality and food safety management systems.

Our Certifications

It is the international standard for food safety management systems for the entire supply chain, from farmers or ranchers to product and packaging processors, transport and point of sale. Our operations are certified under ISO22000 through Lloyd’s Register.

The food quality control system according to Asian standards is called Kosher. It includes an audit carried out in the production plant by a supervisor of the Kosher certifier to guarantee that said standards and required quality specifications are met.
